What is the difference between MindManager Professional / Annual Plan and the MindManager One-Time Purchase?

With MindManager Annual Plan, your MindManager version will always be up to date.
When you purchase MindManager Professional / Annual Plan, you will receive a license key that you can use to activate the current MindManager for Windows version and the current MindManager for Mac version. You will also receive free upgrades to new MindManager versions within the term of your subscription.
MindManager Professional / Annual Plan includes our entire suite of products & services.

MindManager Professional / Annual Plan includes:

MindManager Professional / Annual Plan is automatically renewed for an additional year unless you cancel the contract before the renewal date.
If you cancel the contract, your license key expires and you lose the right to use the complete product.

MindManager One-Time Purchase

When you buy the MindManager perpetual/One-Time Purchase license you pay once.
You will receive a MindManager license key that can only be used for the version you have purchased.
Your MindManager for Windows license key cannot be used to activate the Mac version or vice versa.
The MindManager One-Time Purchase license does not include free upgrades to new MindManager versions.

MindManager periodically removes older versions of MindManager to focus all resources on developing and supporting newer versions. When a version of MindManager is no longer included in the program, direct technical support for that version is discontinued.

Even though our "perpetual" (One-Time Purchase) licenses are in principle valid for an unlimited period of time, technical progress of hardware and software may mean that these licenses cannot be used in practice for an unlimited period of time. Because legacy licenses may not be compatible with new operating system versions or computers, in certain situations, the purchase of a current version of MindManager may be necessary to ensure safe operation.
